Some of the kids are going back to their AHL teams for the playoffs, some of the guys are going to Russia to play for their country at the IIHF World Championships.
And some are just going home.
Some may not be back in Edmonton next season.
Hopefully Toby is on the list of not coming back. Same with Shaggy. Unfortunate that he was injured for almost half the season, but he ain't the answer to our defensive woes.
The Juice could be a goner.
Torres might be on that list too. Poor Raf. He sucked something fierce this season. I know it, you know it, he knows it, MacT knows it, Lowe knows it....... If he does get re-signed and not traded, he better as fuck pick it up next season, with or without his bestest buddy Stoll on the same line.
Raffi himself said it best; "Whether I like it or not I'm a big part of this team and I have to be ready to go next year, or it's going to be big trouble again."
Best of luck to all the (Oilers) kids in the AHL playoffs; Wikkes-Barre should have a legitimate shot at the Calder Cup.
